You know that month I took offline? Aside from having covid (long story for another day perhaps), guess what I did?! Wrote a freakin’ book!!
Okay so I didn’t actually write the whole book that month. I started it Autumn last year and I’m still fiddling about with it but January was a big month for my keyboard and I and a book is born!
I’ve been pretty cagey with details because you have to take these things slooowwwllyy but today is the day I can tell you a BIT more! Book baby number six is called ‘Time After Time’ and is NOT about the Wilde family! I know! All new characters babbbyyy!!
So, I need your help! The final cover hasn’t been made yet- the book isn’t out til Summer 2022 because there was that pesky pandemic thing that set things back a bit butttttt, it’ll be worth the wait I assure you. In the meantime we have this spangly new holding image to tide us over. I’d LOVE to know, what do YOU think we should have on the official cover?
Here’s a little synopsis to wet your whistle (gross phrase, sorry) and help you with your ideas:
Sometimes you have to go back, to move forwards.
Tabitha is stuck. She still lives in the small town she grew up in . . . the town she’s barely ever left. She exists firmly within her comfort zone and doesn’t know how to break out. Sometimes she wishes she should go back and start it all again.
After her dad drops a bombshell over their family Sunday dinner, Tabitha decides it’s time to take a look at her own life.
When she meets Bea, a free spirit like no one else she’s ever known with an ‘interesting’ sense of style, Tabitha quickly befriends her, recognising in Bea the change she’s been craving. But soon it becomes clear that more has changed than her new friend. Somehow Tabitha has been transported back to the 1980s.
With the chance to reinvent herself in another time, will Tabitha finally manage to move forward?
Ohhhhhhh yeaaahhhh, we’re going back to the 80’s! I can’t even tell you how fun it was to play with all of that, I really can’t wait for you to loose yourself in this book. If you want to be a super early bird, you can place your pre-order now to secure your copy. If you don’t but you know a bookworm, feel free to send them this article, I’d appreciate it so much!
